Recognized as one of the main highlights of Ultimate today, Glover Teixeira saw his reign at light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) end last Saturday (11). In the main fight of UFC 275, the Brazilian had the advantage, but ended up being submitted in the fifth round by Jiri Prochazka.

In his first statement, backstage at the show, Glover claimed tiredness, declared that he tried to do his best and regrets having lost the belt in the confrontation. He also thanked the fans for their support and is ready for his next UFC fight.
"Hey guys. Let's go. That's it. Wow, we took a few 'beats' there, huh? Guys, it was a fight in which I did my best and ended up with a hand on my neck. I was tired as hell, I didn't believe it and I should have turned around (the position). But now it's too late to be crying 'over spilled milk'. Live by the sword and die by the sword. I tried my best and it wasn't enough. But that's it. Let's go to the next one. Thank you for all the people who root for me. I'm fine, just with some cuts, but let's go”, said Glover in a video published by UFC Brasil's official profile on 'Twitter'.

Glover, in fact, came close to securing his victory, but lost the belt after giving up due to a rear naked choke applied by the Czech.
