Recently, the president of Ultimate, Dana White, admitted that the winner must be accredited to fight for the group's belt. Today, the holder of the title is the veteran Carla esparza.

While Weili remained active after the battle against Joanna, the same cannot be said for the Polish woman. Considered by many to be the best strawweight in history, Jedrzejczyk will have her first challenge since fighting Zhang in the UFC 248.
