The meeting between highlights of the top 5 welterweights (up to 77kg.) can be negotiated by Ultimate. On the afternoon of this Thursday (9), Khamzat Shimaev e Belal Muhammad | sealed a verbal agreement for a clash in October. At the Twitter, the athletes expressed their mutual interest in measuring strength in the octagon.
“October, in Abu Dhabi,” wrote Chimaev.

Willing to test himself against his UFC protégé, Muhammad didn't take long to respond. After the publication of Khamzat, the fighter tried to confirm his desire.
“I’m in,” he replied.
Considered a great bet for the future of Ultimate, Chimaev is enjoying a great moment within the organization. In his last commitment, the Swede faced his biggest challenge in his professional career in MMA, overcoming Gilbert Durinho for points in a real battle in the octagon.
If the moment is good for Khamzat, the same can be said for Muhammad. With an eye on a future title fight, the fighter has had eight fights without a negative result.
Currently, the Swede, who is undefeated in mixed martial arts, occupies third place in the group led by Kamaru Usman. Rising in the category, Belal is fifth.
