Taila Santos has the great opportunity of his career in UFC 275 next Saturday (11). Challenging in the flies (up to 56,7kg.), the Brazilian preached respect to Valentina Shevchenko, but he believes he can surprise and win the Ultimate belt. “She is a tough, intelligent and strong athlete. I watched several of her fights. But I believe she is not invincible. She has flaws, yes. We studied, we managed to find flaws and we will impose our game based on these flaws. (…) I believe I have a higher level than her in the soil. But being the 'zebra' is nothing new to me. I'm fighting with the best”, said Taila in an interview on 'half day'.

Asked about her adaptation in Ultimate to victories on the fast track, the Brazilian shows sincerity to highlight that she let herself be controlled by insecurity in her first performances. Now, however, she says she is more 'loose and light' in pursuit of her dream of becoming champion.

“I was looking for an easy way to win in the UFC – and I got it in the last fight. At first, I was also a little insecure and more nervous. I was trying to improve with each fight to always come in looser and lighter. That’s when I managed to finish and do everything I wanted to do”, he concluded.
