"She (Valentina Shevchenko) is the closest you can get to the perfect fighter, but no one is perfect. There is always room for improvement for everyone. By studying his game, we were able to find some things we could work on and that was basically it. The strategy was drawn up around the flaws we found, and that is what I will impose”, said Taila at the event's media day.

Considered the 'zebra' in the confrontation against Valentina, the Brazilian said she doesn't care about the label and stated that it will not influence her performance in the Octagon.

“I was the underdog in most of my UFC fights. For me, this is a good thing and I use it for extra motivation. It doesn't matter when we get there. We will fight the same way, no matter what people see,” said the Brazilian.
