Challenger for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.), Jiri Prochazka knows that he needs to evolve in grappling to win Glover Teixeira. In the final stretch of preparation for the UFC 275, an event that takes place on July 11th, the Czech claims that he has been working on takedown defenses and progressions to thwart the Brazilian's possible strategy in the fight.

“I have to change this style, especially on the ground, in Wrestling. That's why I trained this with Henry (Cejudo) and then in the Czech Republic with my coaches. Everyone knows my strongest weapon and my weakness. That's why I start working on this. That's why I started preparing dangerous techniques and I believe in myself. More than ever”, said Prochazka in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.

Willing to do something different, Jiri believes that 'attack is the best defense' to get past Glover. He says that he always adjusts his game to dominate the actions in all possible areas of the duel.

“With all due respect, I have to be dominant in all areas. Unlike other opponents who just accept Glover's game and just defend themselves, my game is to be aggressive, attack and be in dominant positions. Even if I'm in the back or guard. It doesn’t matter,” he concluded.
