Last Sunday (29), in an event valid for Eternal MMA 66, champion Jack Beckley defended his lightweight title against Aidan Aguilera and, with a kick similar to that of Anderson Silva against Chris Weidman, fractured his leg in shocking images. The record was published by the organization on its official 'Instagram'.
Right at the beginning of the fight, it is possible to see the two athletes exchanging blows at close range and with great power. Beckley had worked a high left attempt and stopped at Aguilera's block. Then, the Australian repeated the intense low kick and fractured his right leg. The duel lasted just 20 seconds.

In addition to the shocking image, the injury was also impressive due to its similarity to the fracture suffered by Anderson Silva, in the clash against Chris Weidman, which took place at UFC 168 on December 28, 2013.
'I will never forget'
With the serious fracture, Jack Becker was declared defeated and lost the belt. Furthermore, the Australian – who had been approached to sign with the UFC – will need to spend a long period away from the sport. He spoke out, declared that he will never forget the injury and reveals his desire to return to MMA soon.
“The game is to prepare as much as you can. Train your heart and prepare to take risks and put everything up for grabs. I did it and so did my team. It was an experience I will never forget, I look forward to feeling it again when I can. Everything was planned until my leg turned into 'noodles' (…) I'm fine and I appreciate the positive thoughts. I'll be back soon. I really wish I had shown a little more. But that’s how it happens sometimes,” Becker said.
