The second fight of KSW 70, an event held last Saturday (28), in Lodz, Poland, ended with a very strong scene that shocked the fans present at the Atlas Arena. Tommy Quinn, who was facing Albert Odzimkowski, suffered a serious injury to his elbow, his arm was left “inside out” and he screamed in pain after suffering a fall.
The duel between Tommy Quinn and Almerd Odzimkowski was heading towards the decision of the side judges when, close to the middle of the third round, Odzimkowski delivered a beautiful takedown on Quinn. As soon as the Irishman fell on his arm screaming in pain, referee Lukasz Bosacki intervened immediately and stopped the fight, declaring the Polish fighter's victory by technical knockout.
This was the first time Tommy Quinn was defeated by knockout in his career. The Irishman has a record of nine wins, six losses and one fight without result in his career.
Albert Odzimkowski, in turn, won again after four consecutive fights without triumphs (three defeats and one fight without result). The Pole's last victory occurred in June 2019. In his career, there are 12 triumphs, six setbacks and one unsuccessful fight.
