The fight was on the main card of the UFC 274, held on May 7th, in Phoenix (USA).
Despite the brutal outcome, Chadler started at a disadvantage and suffered a knockdown, but recovered, took down Ferguson and finished on top. On the way back, in the opening seconds, Michael landed a devastating 'stomp' on 'El Cucuy's face, who fell forward and face down on the ground.

The highlight for Charles of the Bronx It was, once again, with an air of overcoming. After losing his belt after failing on the scales when trying to beat the limit established in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg), the São Paulo native showed great 'heart'. Despite suffering two knockdowns, he recovered and submitted Justin gaethje No. UFC 274.
The fight in question only lasted one round, but it was enough to excite MMA fans. Gaethje had good moments and managed to knock Charles twice, but didn't continue to knock him out. Later, the North American was surprised with a right that made him feel bad and saw the Brazilian – who is the greatest finisher in UFC history – get a rear naked choke.
