Weidman reveals discomfort with shouts of 'Uh, he's going to die' from Brazilian fans

Middleweight champion says he still hears the 'war cries' from Anderson's fans during their first clash

One of the most famous cries of Brazilian fans, the now notorious “Uh, you’re going to die!”, still torments the middleweight champion Chris Weidman until today. During a press conference to promote UFC 168 in São Paulo, this Monday (30), Weidman spoke about the matter when asked if he thought he had been disrespected, as cited by Anderson Silva.

"Uh will die! Uh will die! That’s all I hear”, said the champion, drawing laughter from those present at the hotel where the interview was held. Later, returning to the topic in another answer, Chris Weidman he stated that he was quite irritated because of the screams right after knocking out Spider, but that the joy of winning the belt came to the surface and replaced this feeling

Chris Weidman faces Anderson Silva again on December 28th, in the main fight of UFC 168. The fight, valid for the middleweight belt, takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). In the co-main event of the night, the TUF 18 coaches Miesha Tate e Ronda Rousey face each other for the title of the women's bantamweight division.
