Facing the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg), the Brazilian bet on frank striking and convinced the majority of the judges. After five rounds, the Manauara woman was declared the winner in a split decision by the judges.

The fight

Holly tried hard and managed to get up, but she was pressed against the bars by the Brazilian. Near the final minute, Ketlen managed to land a hand triangle, standing, and came close to 'erasing' her rival. Holm, however, showed resistance and managed to get out of position. In the final seconds, the former champion attacked the Brazilian against the bars, but she had no more time.
