“I don't have 'time off'. Another near-fatal experience. Yesterday (Tuesday) I was riding my bike when a moving car turned right without looking and we hit it at high speed. The crash caused a major head injury and the ambulance took 45 minutes to arrive, which made me bleed. I’m breathing for a greater purpose,” Murphy wrote.
And it wasn't the first 'near-death' experience for Murphy. In the past, he claimed to have been shot three times in the face and neck, during a story in the suburbs of Manchester, England. Since then, the Englishman has highlighted that the experience made him focus on MMA training, where he remains undefeated in 12 fights – with 11 wins and one draw.
At 30 years old, Lerone – who has the nickname 'The Miracle', has not played since October 2021, when he crashed mawan amirkhani with a knockout via knee in the second round.
