Just like Rafael, Drew dober is also looking for his second consecutive victory in Ultimate. The veteran is coming off a knockout triumph over terrance mckinney, in March this year. Before that, the North American had two consecutive defeats. In the organization since 2013, Dober has ten victories, seven setbacks and one unsuccessful fight in the Octagon.

Rafael Alves is the third Brazilian confirmed in the UFC 277, joining the lightweight Carlos Diego Ferreira and medium weight (up to 83,9 kg) Paulo borrachinha, who has the co-main fight against the former champion Luke Rockhold.
