The victory over Eddie Wineland at UFC 165, an event held last Saturday (21), in Toronto, was worth more than defending the interim bantamweight belt for Renan Barao. In addition to retaining the title, the Brazilian rose in the organization's weight-for-weight rankings. Now, the Potiguar occupies the sixth position overall, surpassing Dominick Cruz, linear bantamweight champion.

Another considerable change in the classification also involved Brazilians. For the third consecutive time in recent events, José Aldo e Anderson Silva they exchanged positions. Now, the featherweight champion occupies third place, while Spider has fallen to fourth.
