The victory of Jan Blachowicz about Aleksandar rakic No. UFC Las Vegas 54 raised the athlete's name for a future title fight in the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg.). Last Saturday's commitment not only marked the Pole's first positive result since losing the title to the Brazilian in 2021. Against Rakic, Blachowicz had an obligation to win to defend his first position in the category's ranking.
With the intention of regaining his status as a title challenger, Jan is one of the main interested parties in the UFC 275. At the event, which takes place on June 11, Teixeira seeks his first title defense, when he faces off against Jiri Prochazka.
In a press conference after the UFC Las Vegas 54, Blacohwicz, in fact, was open to an invitation to go to Singapore, the location of the show. If he confirms his presence, the Pole will be able to closely follow the development of the clash between the champion and the Czech.
