VIDEO: Inspired by Bruce Lee, Conor McGregor presents 'bow and arrow punch' in new training record

Former two-division UFC champion, the Irishman still does not have a confirmed date or opponent for his return to the Octagon

There is still no scheduled date for his return to the UFC octagon after the serious injury suffered in July 2021, in the trilogy against Dustin poirier, Conor McGregor has been showing signs that it is getting closer to the ideal form for a return. Last Sunday, the former UFC featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) champion published some training videos on social media.

In one of them, Conor McGregor appears practicing a punch he himself calls “McGregor's bow and arrows”. The Irishman revealed he was inspired by martial arts legend Bruce Lee.

Despite going through a bad phase in the octagon, with just one victory in the last four fights, Conor McGregor continues to exude self-confidence in his speech. The Irishman sent a message to his next opponents.

“Think of it this way, newbies, if someone carries a bow loaded with arrows and points it in your face, what are you going to do? I will sink these arrows into the target in live fights. For the world to witness. Again. But these arrows are different from the previous ones. Snaked. With my knuckles,” he wrote.
