However, it was not possible to agree with Charles. The Brazilian resisted a lot of pressure from Gaethje and managed to find a rear naked choke at the beginning of the second round to defeat the North American and guarantee his place in the fight for the now vacant lightweight title. The Brazilian has stamped his passport for the big duel, but he still doesn't have a defined opponent.
