“I think we received very little. I asked Dana to box. He said no. I questioned the reason. I want to play baseball, become a professional in other sports. I'm an athlete. I want to do all these things, but I have this guy acting like a drug dealer, saying I can't do this or that. I want to make more money for my family,” said Ferguson.
This weekend, Ferguson will make his debut in the 2022 season. Former interim lightweight champion, 'Bicho Papão' is going through his worst moment as a professional in MMA. Today, the fighter has accumulated three consecutive defeats, something unprecedented until then.
Even though he is dissatisfied with the way the UFC is managed, Ferguson guarantees that he is focused on achieving a positive result. The athlete, however, didn't miss the opportunity to needle White once again.
“I'm the guy who's here and doesn't enjoy 'Dana's privileges.' I don't find that funny. (…) I'm taking this weekend very seriously. I’m going to kick this darling Dana White’s ass”, he concluded.
Part of Ferguson's criticism is due to the treatment received by Michael chandler since the athlete left Bellator and arrived in Ultimate (in 2020). Former champion in the competition, the fighter needed a test to be selected for a straight belt fight.
