Professional in MMA since 2009, Yoel has never gone so long without a positive result. The fighter's last triumph came in February 2018, when he ran over Luke Rockhold. The fight only failed to consecrate the Cuban as interim champion of the division because he failed to make the weight cut on the eve of the fight.

Current number seven in Bellator's light heavyweight division, Alex Polizzi took on the challenge of testing himself against one of the most feared names in the recent history of the sport. In addition to his position in the rankings, the athlete will defend a streak of three consecutive victories.

Hired to compete in the under-93kg category, Romero will not be the main attraction of this Friday's event. The show will be headlined by Ryan bader and Cheick Kongo, who are in a rematch for the heavyweight title (up to 120,2 kg.).
