Without even debuting for the UFC, German Benjamin Brinsa was released by the main MMA organization on the planet. The fighter, who had been constantly linked to the neo-Nazi group LOK in his home country, had his contract suspended by Ultimate and is no longer part of the event's roster of athletes. After the announcement, Brinsa spoke out through his Facebook profile.
“I am not a neo-Nazi, never have been and never will be. At no time in my life have I made any xenophobic, anti-Semitic or racist statements, whether in public or private. Yeah, I got a track record like hooligan in my youth, but that is a thing of the past and I have just been focusing on my professional career in recent years,” Benjamin wrote.
Benjamin “The Hooligan” Brinsa, 24, has a perfect record of 13 wins as a professional. The German welterweight, born in the city of Leipzig, is a specialist in grappling, having won seven fights by submission. In May, in his last fight, Brinsa submitted North American Daniel Stittgen, in the main event of La Famigia Fight Night 4, in Halle, Germany.
