I couldn't even sweat. In the Brazilian duel held this Saturday (30), at UFC Las Vegas 53, Francisco Figueredo put on a real show in the confrontation against Daniel Miojo. With sharp jiu-jitsu, the athlete needed just over a minute to overcome his compatriot with a straight kneebar.

With the result, Figueiredo recovers from the stumble he suffered against Malcolm Gordon. Now, Deiveson's younger brother has two wins in three UFC commitments.
Overcome in a flash, Daniel Miojo had the 'alert signal' turned on. The stumble represented the fighter's second negative result in the company, and he continues to seek his first triumph in the company.
In an interview still in the octagon, Francisco stated that he doesn't want to rest. The athlete stated that, if there were any vacancies, he could perform at the company's next event.
The fight
The fight started with Figueiredo taking the initiative with a sequence of two low kicks. Miojo responded with a round shot, which stopped in his opponent's guard. After a new attack from Francisco, Daniel took advantage of his rival's carelessness and took his opponent to the ground. In an unsuccessful transition, Miojo ended up leaving his leg exposed. Francisco then got a kneebar and forced his compatriot to give up.
Gabe Green endures suffocation and comes back with a knockout
In the third fight of the show, a new twist. After suffocating in the first round, Gabe Green proved to have great resistance and won a great victory against Yohan Lainesse, in a fight contested at welterweight (up to 77kg.). Recovered in the second stage, the fighter imposed his aggression and overcame his opponent with a technical knockout.
With the victory, Green reached the mark of two consecutive victories in the company. Now, the athlete is once again dreaming of a clash that could bring him closer to the top 15 in the division led by Kamaru Usman.
The setback against Gabe will be marked in Yohan's career. Before the challenge in UFC Las Vegas 53, the fighter had never suffered a defeat in eight appearances.
Natan Levy lives battle and wins first in UFC
Revealed by 'Dana White's Contender Series', Nathan Levy he experienced a real battle in his second Ultimate challenge. A lightweight athlete (up to 70,3kg), the Israeli had a convincing performance, but needed to sweat to overcome Mike Breeden. After 15 busy minutes, the athlete was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
With the victory, Levy recovers from the stumble suffered in his Ultimate debut. The athlete now has the seventh victory in his career, in eight appearances as a professional in MMA.
Also revealed by 'Contender', Breeden continues without triumphing in the company. Now, the fighter has two setbacks and will enter the octagon under pressure in his next challenge.
Shanna Young turns fight and wins by knockout
I breathe in the organization. Representative of flies (up to 56,7kg.), Shanna Young staged a major turning point in the fight that opened the UFC Las Vegas 53. Opponent of Gina Mazany, the fighter showed recovery power and achieved a knockout in the second stage, after being dominated in the first round.
With the result, Young ends his bad moment in the company. Before this Saturday's commitment, the American had accumulated three stumbles in her last five fights.
Joy on one side, tension on the other. Surprised by Shanna, Mazany now has six stumbles in her last 10 challenges in the organization.
