At the end of the preliminary card of the PFL 2022 #2, Matheus Buffa ended up being knocked out by Before Delija in the second round of the duel valid for the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg). The Brazilian was no match for the Croatian's knockout power, who after achieving a knockdown in the first round, closed the deal at the beginning of the second.

The Croatian scored five points and took the provisional lead in the division, overtaking Klidson Abreu, who scored three points. THE FIGHT
Right at the beginning of the duel, Before Delija he put Matheus Buffa down, but the Brazilian managed to get back on his feet. Afterwards, the Croatian connected with a cross that led to Matheus being knocked down. Delija continued with a series of strikes on the ground, but the Brazilian survived the storm and remained alive in the duel until the end of the round.
Still in the first minute of the second round, Matheus Buffa threw a high kick. Before Delija he defended and, afterwards, connected a clean cross in the middle of the Brazilian's face, who again went to the canvas. This time, the Croatian didn't forgive and hit Matheus until the referee stopped him.
