The only Brazilian on the preliminary card, Philipe Lins shakes off his bad form and wins his first in the UFC

Former PFL champion, Brazilian fought back and managed to win over Marcin Prachnio on points

Only Brazilian on the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 52, event held this Saturday (23), Philip Lins won for the first time in the organization. After a complicated first round, he turned the fight around and beat the Pole Marcin Prachnio in the unanimous decision of the judges. The duel was valid in the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg).

Former PFL champion, Lins alleviates the situation in Ultimate. Previously, the Brazilian athlete had lost in his two appearances. He now has a record of 15 positive results and five negative results in his career.

Prachnio, in turn, has a negative record and is at risk of dismissal. So far, the Pole has had five fights and lost four in the organization, with a record of 14 victories and six setbacks.

The fight

Prachnio started the bet with kicks to the waist. Lins, in turn, managed a strong game with his takedown attempt and managed to take the back, but he didn't work on the position and saw his opponent recover. The Pole also applied short knees in the clinch and ended the round in a dominant position.

The second round was full of adventures for Lins. With offensive momentum, the Brazilian bet on frank striking and had good moments, in addition to shaking Martin on three occasions. Prachnio, nevertheless, managed to resist the pressure and appeared very tired.

Philip Lins he came back more whole and delivered good blows at close range to hurt Marcin Prachnio. The Brazilian also scored a takedown and was in a dominant position for much of the round. In the final stretch, he tried a stand-up and, to guarantee victory, 'tied' his opponent to the fence.

The fourth fight on the preliminary card was a disaster. Debuting in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg.), Aori Qileng justified the change and knocked out Cameron Else with a punch to the waist. In an interview still in the octagon, the Chinese promised to 'dominate' the category led by aljamain sterling.

Qileng also achieved the 20th victory in his career. Professional since 2015, he lost on 11 other opportunities. Else loses for the second time in a series and is having trouble organizing, in addition to having a record of 10 triumphs and five setbacks.

In a welterweight duel (up to 93 kg.), Preston Parsons dominated and beat Evan Elder in a unanimous decision by the judges. With a strong wrestling game, the fighter came close to submitting his opponent, who resisted catagatame and rear naked choke attempts.

Parsons won for the first time in the organization after debuting on the wrong foot. He now has a record of ten positive results and three negative results. On the other hand, Elder feels the 'bitter taste' of his first defeat in professional MMA, while he also has seven other triumphs.
