Anthony Pettis would face José Aldo at UFC Rio 4, but a knee injury took the North American out of the fight. Recovered, Pettis was then called upon to replace TJ Grant against Ben henderson, at UFC 164, and took the belt from his former rival last Saturday. But Aldo still hasn't forgotten the duel and, motivated by what has been said over the last two days, he demanded it from President Dana White.

In an interview with the Combate channel website, Aldo made a point of highlighting that he is not afraid of anyone, in a response to a Dana White insinuation, and that he would even fight with Cain Velazquez, the organization's heavyweight champion. To top it off, he asked White again to schedule a duel against the current lightweight champion.

“The only fears I have in life are of God and of going hungry,” said Aldo. “Fighting for me is a pleasure, with anyone, in any category. You can book Cain right away to see if the pack doesn't eat the same way, regardless of weight. If a heavy guy wanted to fight me on the street, would I ask him how much he weighs? Of course not? So tag this p* and let's stop messing around! This is the fight we want to see. Let’s make it happen, Dana!”

Since winning the “Korean zombie" Chan sung jung at UFC Rio 4, in August, Aldo has no confirmed next opponent.
