Without fighting since the defeat to Charles of the Bronx in the lightweight belt dispute (up to 70,3 kg), in December last year, Dustin poirier already made public his dissatisfaction with the lack of definition of his next step in the UFC. The former interim champion, however, believes that everything is a plan by the organization to hold a fourth fight between him and Conor McGregor.

"I do not know what is happening. I haven’t heard from anyone in the last two months,” replied the American.
Another follower told the fighter he feels the UFC is waiting Conor McGregor fully recover from the injury suffered in the trilogy between them, in July last year, to mark the fourth fight. Poirier agreed.
“Probably,” he wrote.
