Brazilian fans were surprised by the return of a live UFC event on a Wednesday, competing with one of the prime times of football, the most popular sport in the country. But it's good to get used to it. According to the organization's president, the majority of cards promoted by him will take place in the middle of the week.

In a chat with reporters after the UFC Fight Night 27 press conference on Wednesday night, White confirmed that UFC events will only return to Saturdays in cases of “cards numbered” (the events in pay-per-view in the United States) and some other special occasion.

Next week again has another event on Wednesday. It will be the turn of UFC No Combate 3, which will be held at Ginásio do Mineirinho, in Belo Horizonte. Of the other two events announced for Brazil until the end of 2013, the one in Barueri, on October 9th, will take place in the middle of the week. Already the card of Goiânia, on November 9th, will be one of the events played on a Saturday without being in a pay-per-view.
