First Brazilian to fight in the UFC, Jessica Andrade is counting down to return to the octagon. The fighter will go to England to face local athlete Rosi Sexton at UFC Fight Night 30.
The person who gave the information firsthand was Sexton herself. On her Twitter account, she exclaimed: “It's official! First women's UFC fight in the UK: me versus Jessica Andrade. First time I’m going to fight in my city!” Shortly after, the UFC made the fight official.
Born in Versailles, France, Sexton moved to England as a child and adopted Manchester, the city that will host the event on October 26th, as her home. About to make his second fight in the UFC, Sexton has 13 wins and two losses in his professional career, one of them in his debut in the current organization against Alexis Davis.
Jéssica is also going to her second fight in the UFC, again at her opponent's home. She debuted in July, when she was defeated by American Liz Carmouche at UFC On FOX 8, in the United States. The Brazilian has nine wins and three losses in her career.
UFC Fight Night 30 will be headlined by middleweight clash Michael Bisping, who will also fight at home, against the American Mark Muñoz.
