The atmosphere heated up at the weigh-in for UFC 273, which took place this Friday (8), in Jacksonville, Florida (USA). Facing one of the most important fights of the night, Khamzat Shimaev broke up from Gilbert Durinho had to be separated by the president of Ultimate, Dana White. The fight is scheduled to take place on the main card of the night.

Despite the friendly atmosphere that seemed to be established during the promotions, the atmosphere among the athletes has changed since the press conference, held last Thursday (7). Durinho, at the entrance, was heavily booed by the public present, while Chimaev – who entered with a bandana over his face – had the support of the fans.
Undefeated in professional MMA, Chimaev impressed at the start of his career in the UFC with four victories by interruption, three of which were in the first round and two of which were just ten days apart. The Swede is coming off an important victory over li jingliang, in October.
Durinho, in turn, aims for a new opportunity for the belt, which belongs to Kamaru Usman and comes from triumph over Stephen Thompson, in July 2021. In his career, the Brazilian now has a record of 20 positive results and four negative results.
