Sonnen is ready to fight and says: 'There is no opponent for me'

Falastrão considers the options available for a future fight in Ultimate to be scarce

Even in the midst of a series of public exchanges with Wanderlei Silva, which culminated in a recent video by the Brazilian that became successful on the internet, Chael Sonnen doesn't seem to have decided on his future in Ultimate. In an interview with the website “MMA Junkie”, the loudmouth didn't even mention a possible duel against Wand when talking about his likely opponents.

“I need some fights to happen at both middleweight and light heavyweight. But if everything stays the same as it is now, there is no opponent (for me). I already know that Rogério Minotouro will face Mauritius Shogun, then he is out of the question. I would really like to be part of the UFC's 20th anniversary event. I'm looking to be part of the card that has Georges St-Pierre against John hendricks,” said Sonnen, who also considered UFC 168, which features a rematch between Anderson Silva against Chris Weidman, as an option for your return.
