“Everything is very raw. There are no feints, attacks, changes of level, but still, you believe that you will have a different result. You work too much on combinations, when you should be working on inputs. It’s just a tip from the best of all time”, wrote Cejudo, in response to a video released by Conor on Twitter.
Henry's post apparently upset Conor. Famous worldwide for his qualities in stand-up fighting, the 'Notório' rebutted and questioned the qualities of the former UFC flyweight (up to 56,7kg) and bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) champion.
“The initial punches are traps and feints. Have you heard of this? Your taunts won't shake me, boy. Throw in a few real jabs and maybe you'll get a response. You're a fat newbie who only has two knockouts, at bantamweight. I'm 20, in three weight categories. Shut up, idiot,” McGregor retorted.
Retired from MMA since 2020, Cejudo is experiencing a new moment in his career as a coach. Currently, the fighter, who has been showing signs that he intends to return to the sport, runs 'Fight Ready'. Recently, the former double Ultimate champion provided services to names like Deiveson Figueiredo, Chris Cyborg, Jiri Prochazka, 'Korean zombieto Jon Jones.
Legend of mixed martial arts, McGregor continues to recover from the serious injury suffered in the middle of the 2021 season. The fighter has plans to return to action in 2022.
The opening punches are the traps/feints/fakes. Have you ever heard or seen that before? Your little feints won't draw me out, kid. But pump a few real shots you might get a response. You are a little fat novice with about 2 ko's. Even bantam. I've 20. Across 3 divisions.
