The fighter, who was one of the highlights of TUF Brasil 2, faces Ryan Laflare at UFC Goiânia, an event that takes place on November 9th. The announcement was made by the fighter himself in this Saturday's edition of “Diário Olé”.
Santiago, who has a record of 18 wins and just one loss, reached the final of TUF Brasil 2, defeating the Rio de Janeiro native Leo Santos in the semi-final. But as the Argentine suffered a broken hand during the dispute, he was unable to make the decision against Wiliam Patolino and ended up being replaced by Leo, who ended up winning the reality show prize.
In turn, Ryan LaFlare has a perfect record of eight wins in eight fights. The fight against Ponzinibbio will be his second fight in the octagon. In his debut, he beat Ben Alloway in a unanimous decision by the judges last April.
The event in Goiânia, which should be called UFC no Combate 5, will feature a duel between Vitor belfort e Dan Henderson as the main attraction.
