Kara-France reveals desire to knock out Deiveson 'in front of Cejudo' in possible title fight

New Zealander was trained by 'Triplo C' in 'The Ultimate Fighter 24' and wants to prove that he is the new 'God of War', if the duel against Figueiredo gets off the ground

Kai Kara France, in fact, seems to have achieved great notoriety after overcoming Askar askarov No. ufc columbus, an event that took place last Saturday (26). In an interview with 'The MMA Hour', the New Zealander stated that he wants to prove that he is the true 'God of War' in an eventual fight for the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg.) against Deiveson Figueiredo.

“The way he gives himself to the fight and his style, people really think he is 'God of War'. But I want to show him that there are levels to this and there is a new 'God of War' in town, and that's me. I want to hit him in the face and show it,” Kara-France said.

Kai's desire, in fact, is to knock out Figueiredo against a former trainer. The New Zealander expressed his desire to beat the Brazilian with Henry Cejudo in front of the champion's corner. 'Triplo C' trained the athlete in the 24th season of 'The Ultimate Fighter 24'.

“I would love to knock out Figgy right in front of Cejudo and tell him that that shy kid he trained on The Ultimate Fighter isn't the same anymore. I am grown, matured and am a seasoned veteran. So it’s a totally different stage,” he concluded.

Kara-France, in her last performance, managed to beat Askar askarov and, as a bonus, he took second place in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), which was occupied by the Russian. The New Zealander is only behind Brandon Moreno and the champion, Deiveson Figueiredo.
