MMA legend, Georges St-Pierre has already been involved in controversies over the amounts received in his fights at the height of the UFC's welterweight division (up to 77kg). And, even for that reason, he feels comfortable giving his opinion on the current situation of the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg.), Francis Ngannou, with the organization.

Amid Ngannou's disputes over his salaries in the most recent fights, St-Pierre believes that the Cameroonian's attitude 'going head to head' with Ultimate can work, especially as the champion is in the best moment of his career and has the power to negotiate .

“They have to be paid their value and, if they are dissatisfied, they can seek service elsewhere. He's not that young anymore and he's reached a point where anything can happen at heavyweight. One punch can change everything. It's rare that you see the same heavyweight champion precisely for that reason”, analyzed St-Pierre in an interview with 'The MMA Hour'.

Francis Ngannou suffered a knee injury before the duel for the unification of the belts against Cyryl Gane, in January, and will be away from the Octagon for an indefinite period of time. In addition to the injury, the Cameroonian also has contractual issues to resolve with Ultimate and his stay in the organization is not guaranteed.
