Author of 'knockout of the year', Chris Gutierrez challenges former UFC champion and promise of the bantamweight division

Author of the 'knockout of the year' on Batgerel Danaa, the bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) stated that he is looking for 'fun fights' and asked for a confrontation against the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) Frankie Edgar or prospect Sean O'Malley.

"I think that Frankie Edgar or Sean O'Malley would be a fun fight. Whether I succeed or not, who knows. Like I said, I can call the shots, but at the end of the day, I'm not the one who really decides. That’s the job of my management team and my coaches. I'm just a fighter, I sign the contract and let's go. We are all here to climb the ladder, trying to be a world champion. I just think they would be fun fights, stylistically they would be fun. Not just for me, for the fans,” said Gutierrez.
