Repeating its policy of almost zero tolerance against criminal practices by its athletes, the UFC confirmed, this Tuesday (20), the dismissal of Swedish lightweight Reza Madadi, convicted of robbery in his home country. The organization published a short official statement in which it made Madadi's cut from its squad official.

“Following his conviction by a court in Sweden, the UFC organization decided to terminate its relationship with Reza Madadi based on its Fighter Code of Conduct and the provision of its promotional contract relating to fighter conduct,” says the text, carried by Zuffa (company that manages Ultimate).
