Joe also spoke about Kamaru's importance to history in the welterweight division (up to 77kg.). The commentator says that the Nigerian could face any fighter who has been through the organization's elite.

“I would put Kamaru Usman against any welterweight fighter who ever lived. I'm not saying he would beat Georges St-Pierre, I'm not saying he would beat them all, but he could beat them all. He might be the best to ever be in the division. He's as good as they come, as he has ferocious knockout power, he's elite at wrestling, no one puts him on his back. And he’s still improving,” he concluded.
