Just over two weeks after the fight between former best friends in UFC 272, Ultimate released new images of the disappointment of Jorge masvidal after being nullified and beaten for points by Colby covington. Between laments and outbursts, it is possible to perceive the frustration of the athlete, who was unable to fulfill his promise and was easily controlled by his rival.

Supported by his coaches, Jorge heard words of support while still in the octagon. Observing the student's sadness, the coaches tried to motivate the veteran.
“He (Covington) couldn’t do anything to you. He just wrestled,” said one of Masvidal’s masters.
If on one side the disappointment was visible, on the other, it was just celebration. Covington celebrated his dominant performance and the fact that he surpassed his former training partner.
“We embarrassed him,” said one of Colby’s coaches.
No UFC 272, Covington and Masvidal put their differences in the Octagon. For months now, the welterweights (up to 77kg) have been teasing each other via the press and social media. The promises of massacre from both parties were not fulfilled, but 'Chaos' prevailed, winning in a unanimous decision by the judges.
