Wayne Rooney was present at the UFC London, which took place last Saturday (19), in England. The football star and current Derby County manager went backstage to congratulate Paddy Pimblett e Molly McCann – who won Rodrigo vargas e Luana Dread, respectively – for spectacular performances in their respective performances.

Rooney, in fact, I followed a good part of the event alongside the middleweight fighter (up to 83,9kg) from Ultimate, Darren till. On his official 'Instagram', he highlighted that he had fun with the performances of his compatriots in the official clashes.
Manchester United legend, the player revealed that, when he found out that the UFC would be back in England, he didn't think twice before showing up. He also recalled the first time he was in the arena for an organization card.
“I went when Crocop fought years ago. The first time I went to one (UFC event). I saw what you (Pimblett and McCamm) were going to fight and I thought: 'I need to go'”, said Rooney in conversation with the athletes.
And it seems that the football player brought luck to the English representatives. Across the card, there were seven athletes who represented the 'Land of the Queen', with five – Tom aspinall, arnold allen, Paddy Pimblett, Molly McCann, Muhammad Mokayev – who achieved victory. Mike Grundy e Cory Mckenna, on the other hand, did not have their arms raised.
