The only female category in action in the UFC, with a limit of up to 61 kilos, is still small, as less than fifteen fighters are part of the squad. As of this week, the division has one less athlete. German Sheila Gaff was the first Ultimate fighter to lose her job.

The information about Gaff's dismissal was released by the German website Ground And Pound and has not yet been made official by the UFC (the fighter's profile is still on the organization's official website). However, Gaff herself made a statement regretting not having been able to show her fans her full potential.
