Georges St. Pierre will pay for his and Hendricks' drug test out of his own pocket

Fighter says he is willing to put an end to criticism from Nick Diaz, that the champion fights under the effects of steroids

After being accused of Nick Diaz of being “full of anabolic steroids”, the Canadian Georges St Pierre decided to put an end to doubts. For your duel against John hendricksIn November, GSP will undergo a more rigorous test than that done by default by athletic commissions. What's more, he will pay the costs of the additional exam out of his own pocket.

“I'm ready to pay for our tests because I'm the champion,” he said. “It’s going to come out of my purse, I’m going to pay because I’m the champion. That's why I'm prepared. I'm prepared to do that, it's something I want to do”, said GSP, to the MMA Fighting website. The fighter will also be subjected to the standard exam applied by the responsible athletic commission.

Georges St Pierre will put the welterweight belt (up to 77 kg.) on the line against John hendricks in the main fight of UFC 167, an event that takes place on November 16, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
