Adam Borics he achieved his fourth consecutive victory and got closer to a likely title shot. At 28 years old, the Hungarian is in a great phase in his career and now has a record of 18 triumphs and just one setback in professional MMA. His last loss was in 2018, to former champion Darion Caldwell.
Danish Mads Burnell had his streak of seven consecutive career victories broken. Until then undefeated in the organization, the featherweight felt the bad taste of the first negative result in the company led by Scott Coker. Also aged 28, the European athlete now has 16 triumphs and four setbacks in the sport.

Burnell started the confrontation with a low kick, which was soon answered by Borics. Adam used combinations to strike his rival, who soon went for a takedown attempt. However, the Hungarian didn't last long on top. Burnell attempted another takedown and was once again rejected by Adam. The two fighters began to exchange blows in the fight. Like a zombie, Burnell continued to advance to pressure Borics, who used jabs to keep the Dane at bay. Without much force, Borics uses his striking to hit Burnell and keep him out of his range of action. The two athletes already looked quite worn out and the fight dropped dramatically. To liven up the fight, Burnell does a little dance after receiving a blow from Adam Borics. The Hungarian seems to wake up and lands a beautiful takedown in the final seconds of the round.
The last round of the confrontation followed the pattern of the previous rounds. Burnell threw a low kick at Borics, who responded with a straight shot. Adam landed a good combination, but didn't even shake his rival. With just over two minutes left in the fight, Borics began circulating around the Octagon, trying to escape Burnell's pressure. Borics tried a flying knee, which stopped in Mads' guard. Adam took the fight to the cage, Burnell tried to grab his leg to take him down and the fight ended there.
