When talking about controversial statements and public exchanges of barbs in the UFC, the name of Chael Sonnen often comes to mind among MMA fans. However, the loudmouth has a worthy rival on the other side of the Atlantic: the British Michael Bisping. This Tuesday (6), the “Conde”, as he is known, showed how provocative he can be and directed his attacks at his future opponent Mark Muñoz.

“He (Mark Muñoz) is a great wrestler, but I think it's one-dimensional. I refuse to lose to anyone who refers to themselves as having a Donkey Kong style. I'm too skilled for him. Muñoz will try to take me to the ground and use those strong punches he has. They are very powerful, and I'm not underestimating him, he's a very talented fighter. But look, I'm going to punch him in the face repeatedly and eventually he's going to fall. On October 26th, I will finish him off, and no one will think about him again. If they thought he was depressed before, on October 27th, the day after the fight, he will be much more depressed afterwards,” Bisping told the North American channel FUEL TV.

Michael Bisping and Mark Muñoz will face each other on October 26, in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 30, in Manchester, England. So far, only one more fight has been announced for the event. This is the duel between Melvin Guillard and Ross Pearson, scheduled to be the co-main fight of the night.
