Fifth place in the ranking, Michael chandler faces seventh place Tony Ferguson at the event on May 7th, in Arizona (United States).

At 38 years old, Ferguson has not won since June 2019, when he overcame Donald Cerrone No. UFC 238.
Initially planned to take place in Rio de Janeiro, the UFC 274 was transferred to the Footprint Center, in the state of Arizona, in the United States. In addition to Charles of the Bronx defending the lightweight belt, Brazil has seven more representatives on the card: Kleydson Rodrigues, Alan Nuguette, Ariane Sorriso, Francisco Massaranduba, Norm Dumont, Marcos Foot e Mauritius Shogun.
