Amanda Nunes' new coach bets on the Brazilian's 'change' over Julianna Peña in rematch

Even without an official date, the rematch between Amanda nunes e Julianna Pena It already touches the imagination of MMA fans. In a podcast interview French Exchange, the new jiu-jitsu coach of the 'Leoa', Balbino Júnior, bet on a submission victory for the Brazilian in the second clash against the current bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg).

“I think there is a finish ahead. I see Amanda knocking Julianna down and suddenly submitting her. But we will be prepared for anything. Our goal is victory, to bring the belt back”, declared Balbino.

Bantamweight champion since 2016, Amanda was dethroned in December 2021, after being submitted by Julianna Pena. Even without an official date yet, the rematch is already well underway. The two fighters will be coaches in the next edition of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter' and should face each other at the end of the season.
