After the surprising arrest of Cain Velazquez for attacking a man who allegedly molested an underage member of his family, Joe Rogan came to the defense of the former Ultimate fighter. In his podcast, the organization's current commentator said, controversially, that he understands the attitude of the former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) and revealed that he wished he had caught the alleged criminal.

“Can you imagine the hatred that went through his head? My only wish is that he had taken (justice) into his own hands, that he had stopped the guy on the street and beat him to death. F**k,” said Rogan, controversially.

Two-time heavyweight champion, Velasquez retired in October 2019, after 13 years of a successful career. His last fight as a professional athlete was in February 2019, when he was knocked out by Francis Ngannou at 26 seconds of the first round. The American hung up his gloves with a record of 14 triumphs and three setbacks.
