More than four years have passed, but Colby covington has not yet changed his opinion about Brazil. The North American, who offended the country before facing Demian Maia, in 2017, repeated the offenses during the press conference of UFC 272, held last Thursday night (3).

Asked by a journalist if he maintained the comments he made before facing Demian Maia, Colby covington confirmed and justified.
“Definitely (I stand by the comments). Brazil is a f***ing dump. They treated me like shit. I was going to the Octagon and they were screaming that I was going to die. They took my United States flag and tried to burn it. What's respectful about that? If you’re going to act like this, you have to put up with it,” said the North American.
Colby covington derrotou Demian Maia at a UFC event held in São Paulo, in October 2017. Heavily harassed by the public before the fight, the North American called Brazilians “filthy animals” and, since then, he has not missed an opportunity to speak negatively about the country.
This Saturday (5), Colby covington takes action against his former friend and current rival Jorge masvidal in the main fight of UFC 272, in Las Vegas (USA).
