It hurt, but it was worth it. Sinead Kavanagh's hard-fought victory in the UFC 275, held this Saturday (25), in Dublin (IRL), yielded good results for the athlete. After overcoming a knee injury and stopping Leah McCourt's good form in the organization, the Irishwoman confirmed her dream rematch against Chris Cyborg for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.). The information was revealed in the official broadcast of the event.

This Friday, Kavanagh went to the circular cage under pressure for a positive result. The athlete was coming off a defeat against the Brazilian legend in a match for the under-65,7kg group title.

In her performance against Leah, Sinead had to 'ignore' an injury that became evident in the second round. Unable to support herself, the fighter had to show courage and do her best to overcome her opponent on points.

Once again challenging, Kavanagh needs to prepare to not repeat his first performance against Cyborg. When he shared the cage with the Brazilian, the Irishwoman had no chance and ended up being knocked out just over a minute into the fight.
