No show, but total dominance. Brother of UFC standout Zabit, Khasan Magomedsharipov has proven that, at just 21 years old, he is on the right path in MMA. Highlight of Bellator 275, held this Friday (25), in Dublin (IRL), the Russian prevailed against Jose Sanchez, 10 years older, and won the unanimous decision of the judges.

With the victory, Magomedsharipov maintained his unbeaten record in his career. The featherweight (up to 65,7kg) now has seven wins in a row and two victories with Bellator gloves.
More experienced, Sanchez came in with a clear plan to face Khasan. Betting on grappling, the Spaniard ended up being outperformed in his own strategy. Frustrated against his rival, Jose ended up losing the second commitment in his career in mixed martial arts.
The fight
The confrontation began with Sanchez looking for the Russian's legs to try to take his rival to the ground. Khasan defended well and managed to get away from his opponent. Jose continued to insist on grappling and pressed Magomedsharipov against the bars. Zabit's brother broke free again, but produced little in the fight. After attempts, it was Jose who ended up being knocked down. In the final minute, Magomedsharipov fell into an advantageous position and attempted a submission. The assault ended with the Russian on top, but without much action.
In the second stage, Khasan took the initiative in the clash, with a sequence of kicks at Jose's base and waistline. Sanchez attempted a takedown again, but Magomedsharipov reversed the situation and punished his opponent with knees close to the bars. Khasan managed to waist his opponent and took his opponent to the canvas. The Russian tried to get to the back and hit the Spaniard, trying to end the fight. Towards the final minute, Khasan punished his opponent, who tried to stay on his feet. The Russian easily controlled the fight, while Jose just protected himself. Nearing the end of the stage, the athletes moved away, but there was no more time.
The third stage started with Jose trying to shorten and looking for the Russian's legs. Kashan defended himself again and, as in the previous round, reversed and took down the Spaniard. Magomedsharipov continued to control his opponent, who was unable to recover in the confrontation. In the final minute, the Russian was on top, but without forceful attacks. The clash ended with Khasan in a dominant position.
Abou Tounkara suffers injury and loses due to withdrawal
A debutant on the show, Abou Tounkara ended up not having the debut of his dreams in the organization. Opponent of Ciaran Clark, a 'home' athlete, the Frenchman did not have the opportunity to show his qualities in the scheduled three rounds. At the end of the first stage, the fighter suffered a shoulder injury and was prevented from returning to the fight.
With the result, Abou is unable to win his first with Bellator gloves. The athlete now makes two stumbles in a row.
Victorious in front of his fans, Clark did not stop celebrating the triumph. 'Creative' of Bellator, the Irishman continues his good form and reaches five consecutive victories for the organization.
Jornel Lugo maintains unbeaten record in warm fight
The fight that opened the main card of Bellator 275 was not emotional. In a bantamweight contest (up to 61,2kg), Jornel Lugo climbed into the circular cage to face the 'home athlete', Brian Moore. After three balanced rounds, the North American ended up convincing the three side judges and won the unanimous decision.
With the positive result, Lugo defended ninth place in the division led by Sergio Pettis. In addition to maintaining his position, the fighter extended his unbeaten career. Now, the fighter has eight wins and has never suffered a defeat.
Supported by the fans present at '3Arena', Moore was unable to take advantage of his greater experience as a professional in MMA. The Irishman's stumble marks Brian's second consecutive defeat in Bellator.
