“Being on American Top Team for so long, I saw it all happen. When Colby came to us, he came straight from college. He had no experience in MMA and we pretty much put Colby where he is now, apart from the last two fights where he was already training at another gym (MMA Masters). And (Jorge) Masvidal was his main training partner in a way. They helped each other a lot,” said Pitbull.

The Brazilian talked about the help that Masvidal gave at the beginning of Colby's career and assumed that he will support Jorge in the match, as he still belongs to the American Top Team.

“Masvidal helped Colby develop his stand-up skills. Colby helped Masvidal improve his fighting. And one point, I don't know what happened, I don't know the details, but they used to face each other in very close duels (in training) and then something happened that they had to go in their own directions. But it's going to be an incredible fight. I'm excited to see these two guys. I'm an ATT for life, so I'm definitely rooting for Masvidal. This is my boy, this is my dog, so I'm super excited to see this”, concluded the Brazilian.
