The eternal discussion about the best in the history of mixed martial arts continues to generate great debates and, when asked about the subject, Henry Cejudo also put together his list. In the program 'The Triple C & Schmo Show', the North American did not sit on the fence and placed himself among the best, in addition to not including Khabib Nurmagomedov of the discussion.

“These are my top five: Jon Jones, Demetrious Johnson, Anderson Silva, Henry Cejudo and Georges St-Pierre. I beat three 'Hall of Famers' in my last fights. Demetrious Johnson, TJ Dillashaw e Dominick Cruz and, therefore, I place myself among the best. I have a lot of respect for GSP, but I feel like he chose his opponents, so I put myself above him”, analyzed Cejudo.

Henry also justified Nurmagomedov's absence from the select list of 'GOATs' – Great of All Times (Best of all time) – from MMA. For him, the Russian did not achieve feats that would put him on the same level as other legends of the sport.

“I think he's in the top 10, he's only had 12 fights in the UFC like me. If he won a second fight and another title, he would even be above me because he would be undefeated. But how many 'Hall of Famers' has he defeated?”, he concluded.

Considered one of the greatest fighters of Ultimate's recent years, Cejudo retired at just 33 years old in May 2020. Former bantamweight (up to 61,2kg) and featherweight (up to 65,7kg) champion, Henry hung up his gloves with a record of 16 triumphs and two setbacks in professional MMA.
